Building permits are required for the following items:

  • New home construction*

  • Commercial Builds and Renovations*

  • Commercial/Residential Additions*

  • Fencing

  • Sheds, outbuildings, carports, shops, storm cellars/safe rooms

  • Swimming pools

  • Demolition of a structure

  • Moving of a structure

  • Street/sidewalk/pavement cutting

  • Driveways

  • Signage

  • Electric Vehicle Charging Station

*contracted through Okie Safety Consulting (requires a zoning check before contracting OSC).

Commercial Construction

Commercial Construction/New Home Build and Additions

For commercial construction or remodel, new home builds, residential and commercial additions, start with a zoning check through the City of Marlow. All plan review and inspections will be handled through Okie Safety Consulting. The final Certificate of Occupancy will be issued by the City of Marlow upon OSC's recommendation.
