The Marlow Electric Department received the Charlie Burgett award for Outstanding Achievement in electric reliability for the 2023 calendar year.
The award was presented by Cheryl Adams, executive director of the Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma.
Marlow Electric achieved a 99.9948% reliability rating for the 2023 calendar year. Additionally, but not included in the award, Marlow finished 2024 at 99.9915% and has finished above 99.99% reliable in 9 of the last 10 years.
